Student Benefits

Due to the huge increase in South African Tourism with new hotels, restaurants and guest houses opening, there is a great demand for qualified and highly skilled chefs.

Students will:

How qualifications are gained:

Emphasis is placed on recognizing work-based skills in real-life situations.

  • Observation by a trained assessor of the candidate’s performance in the workplace in venues outlined on the Home page.
  • Practical tests
  • Projects
  • Written examinations set and marked in the United Kingdom by City & Guilds.

It must be clearly understood by all students that:
Holidays for full time students consist of 3 weeks in winter and 3 weeks break in January
